Information given by John McGoey in Zossen as to his next of kin shows that he gave his sister Margaret McGoey married to a McEneany and living in 1915 in Co Durham. From this one can get the marriage of a Margaret McGoey to a James McEneany in Gateshead in 1910. This is the only marriage that is possible in the English or Scottish marriage registers.
The marriage cert shows on 29 Sept 1910 that Margaret McGoey (age 25, ie born 1885) married James McEneany, bachelor and a coal miner at Wardley Colliery, Heworth. He is given as age 28 (implying a birth in 1882). His father is given as Owen. James McEnean was indeed the son of an Owen McEneany, and was a coal miner, born in Gateshead, and moved to Lanarkshire with his parents as a child.
1881 Margaret McGoey should have on my reckoning been born in 1881,and the daughter of Patrick McGoey.
1891 - I cannot find the family

This confirms that I have the right birth at Glasgow, Dennistown in 1881 for Margaret McGoey.
1916 Jan Her brother John gives her address as 41 North Burns, Chester le Street, Durham. And that is the last we see of her.
